Detailed description of Cove Cay Country Club
Cove Cay Country Club is a semi-private 18 hole golf course located in Clearwater, FL. This course is only open to the public from May 1 through October 31. There is water that can come into play on twelve holes, including #18, a par 5 17th that runs along the bay. The course was designed by David Wallace and was opened in 1972. Cove Cay is a par 70 course with the first 9 being a par 36 and the second nine consisting of 2 par 5s, 3 par 4s and 4 par 3s for a total of par 34 on the back nine. The course plays to 6002 yards from the blue tees, 5,650 from the whites and 5,275 from the red tee boxes.
